Griquas Rugby Union Confirms Leadership Continuity Following Successful AGM

The Griqualand West Rugby Union (Griquas Rugby) is pleased to announce the re-election of its top leadership following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held this past Saturday in Kimberley. Monte Engelbrecht has been reappointed as President, with Johan Myburgh returning as Vice-President — both elected unopposed to serve another four-year term.

Their uncontested nominations reflect the confidence and trust placed in their leadership as the union enters an exciting new chapter following a historic and triumphant year for Griquas Rugby.

Leadership Remarks

President Monte Engelbrecht, who has overseen a period of stability and major achievement within the union, expressed appreciation for the continued support:

For the Suzuki Griquas, one of the newest sources of that power comes in the form of Ebune Moango Ngundue, affectionately known as “Mango” or “Baby Rhino.”
