The Game Development Department aims to provide, promote and maintain the necessary infrastructure that enables all persons regardless of race, colour, creed or gender to have the opportunity to enjoy, participate and play the game of rugby in the area of the Union and Province jurisdiction.
The new U21 coaching team, bringing in a fresh wave of talent and expertise to guide and develop our young players.
Headlining this new coaching lineup is Coach Johnathan Francke, a seasoned rugby veteran with years of experience in both playing and coaching at various levels. Francke brings a wealth of knowledge and a winning mentality that will undoubtedly inspire and lead our U21 team to success.
Assisting Francke are Assistant Coaches Jonathan Adendorf and Ederies Arendse, both also former Griquas players with the knowledge and know-how around the game, their dedication to player development will be instrumental in shaping the future stars of Griqualand West Rugby Union.
Together with the Coaches, we introduce to you our Team Manager, Karabo Mathomme, who is an excellent administrator and an ex-player, with years of experience in managing a young team, he is confident in taking our U21 team to new heights. With their combined expertise, passion for the game, and commitment to excellence, we are confident that the future of Griqualand West Rugby Union is in capable hands.
